Training nutrition plan

Our training nutrition plan is designed to support you both on and off the bike. We’ll help you prep your gut in the lead-up to race day, ensuring it’s ready to handle the fuel you need when it counts.

 

You’ll also get a tailored eating plan to make sure you’re getting enough calories throughout your regular work week to support both your job and your training.

 

As race day approaches, we’ll incorporate strategic carb loading to optimise your energy stores and support a strong gut-brain connection—so you’re mentally sharp and physically ready to perform.

Race day nutrition plan 

Our race day strategy is built around the unique demands of your event. We’ll look at the race format, pit stop durations, and intensity levels to create a fueling plan that keeps you energised from start to finish.

 

Whether you’ve got a 20-minute break or just 20 seconds, we’ll make sure you know exactly what to eat and when.

 

This plan also includes timing your breakfast and pre-race fueling to ensure your body is primed and ready the moment the gate drops.

Post race support plan

Our post-race support ensures you recover right—especially during multi-day events where staying fueled between races is critical.

 

We’ll guide you on what to eat and when to eat it to effectively replenish energy stores, support muscle recovery, and reduce fatigue for the next day. This includes personalised timing strategies to optimise recovery immediately after each race.

 

Beyond the event, we’ll also help you build consistent off-the-bike nutrition habits, so when your next race rolls around, your body already knows what to do.

How it works.

Online Consult 

We kick things off with a 1-on-1 online consult to get to know you, your racing style, and your current nutrition habits. We’ll chat about the races you’re doing, how you're currently fueling, your work life, and how often you ride each week or month. This gives us a solid foundation to create a plan that fits both your lifestyle and your performance goals.

Train Your Gut 

Next, we move into the “train your gut” phase. This is where we put your body through a race-prep nutrition plan. You’ll follow a diet tailored to your training, practice carb loading, and even mimic race-day fueling during your weekend or fun rides. It’s all about getting your body used to the fuel it needs—so there are no surprises when the real race comes around.

Race Day Plan 

In the final step, we reconnect with a follow-up consult to fine-tune your plan. We’ll adjust anything that’s not quite working and prepare a full race day strategy—complete with timing for meals, how much food and fluid you need during pit stops, and exactly what to eat post-race to stay energised and recover faster.
